This is a good vegetable peeler, March 3, 2016 This is a good vegetable peeler, Very sharp and just slices through those peals like nothing, leaving you a pealess vegetable to serve whatever purpose have desire for. For how quickly and easily this peeler works, I give five stars - Now for the julian side - also extremely sharp and can whittle down a carrot into a mound of tasty shreds in under 60 seconds (if you are taking you time). I would definitely classify this as professional quality if you were to ask me. An added bonus is that it is very space saving, you get two products in one - making it that much more handy in the kitchen, and that much less to have to find storage space for.Another bonus is how fun and colorful shredded vegetables can be - I make nests out of shredded potatoes and fill the center with fried egg - my grand kids love it!And I can sneak in a few extra veggies without them noticing by adding veggies that they don’t realize are veggies ( they don’t realize it because they look different than they are used to seeing) -- so all the way around, a win.
