Most of them are pretty cute, but along with all those cute little ...,March 18, 2016 I live in the desert and it has already warmed up enough to start going to the river again (95 degrees today - a definite river day) - and with the temperatures warming up, we are already starting to see all the young critters starting to make their way out from wherever it is that they hide all winter long. Most of them are pretty cute, but along with all those cute little critters come all the ones that we just don’t want around us - like mosquitoes - ewe. Over the past few years, we hear so many terrible things about mosquitoes and last year it was announced that they had found living mosquitoes in this area that had the ebola virus (talk about getting nervous for your kids - that will do it.) The state of Arizona tried to eradicate the little buggers and when that didn’t work the state of Nevada attempted and at some point the coast guard got involved - they really tried hard, but those little buggers can hide anywhere and they did survive until this year. Now I know you can’t allow things to take over your life and I have five “water babies” - nothing will keep us away from that river. - These bracelets worked amazing - we could see other families near us swatting and scratching, and we were fine. I like the fact that they come in different colors and each has it’s own zip lock package. The kids can not fight over who’s is who's and those zip lock bags really work to keep them fresh. We have each been wearing our own bracelet - everyday for a whole week and they worked just as well today as they did on day one with no sign of easing up - no one has had a mosquito bite yet - a total relief for a mom.
